Until you can visit your\ndentist, there are some practical steps you can take to prevent new decay and\nstop current oral health issues from quickly worsening. Otherwise, food particles and harmful bacteria could cling to your teeth\nfor hours on end and lead to dental health problems. That is why flossing each\nevening is so vital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you floss, be sure to clean the sides of both teeth\nthat surround a space. Do not simply insert the floss into the space and pull\nit out. Also, take care that you are gentle and do not \u201csnap\u201d the floss between\nyour teeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use a Mouthwash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A mouthwash can be an excellent way to clean all the little\nnooks and crannies in your mouth. When you are shopping for a mouthwash, choose\none with oral health benefits that are specific to your situation. For example,\nif you are awaiting periodontal therapy, a mouthwash that fights gingivitis may\nbe best for you.
