Dr. Friedman was drawn to orthodontics not only because he has a passion for creating beautiful smiles, but he also enjoys forming long-term relationships with his patients and watching how his work improves their lives over the years. He takes time during every appointment to ask about someone’s hobbies, vacations, friends, family, and more because he genuinely cares and only wants the best for his patients. We’re thrilled to have him as part of our team here at New Haven Dental Group.
Dr. Friedman’s college career began at the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in music. He then enrolled at the Dental School at Emory University in Atlanta, eventually graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. This was followed by completing a rigorous orthodontic program at the NYU College of Dentistry.
He went on to open his own practice in Westchester that he ran for 30 years, during which he earned numerous awards as a Top Doc in orthodontics as well as an outstanding Invisalign provider.
Back at home, Dr. Friedman likes to spend most of his free time working in his yard, playing piano, or simply relaxing with his wife, Cristina, and their dog, Kalle. His other hobbies include cycling, canoeing, kayaking, and he is also an avid ping pong player.
